I'm incredibly proud of the show we put on with Bent Knee last Friday to benefit BARCC, the Boston Area Rape Crises Center. This was our first Boston show in over 6 months, and the turn out and the energy in the room was electric. I heard so many voices singing along, especially in the bridge of In God We Trust. It really moved me. The other two bands on the bill, Bearstronaut and Roz & The Ricecakes, as well as our booking agency APA joined us in donating all proceeds from the show. The total donation came to $1,800, which is far more money than any one of us could or would have contributed alone. I'm so grateful that we were able to contribute something positive with our music and our community. Thanks to all who came out and supported the cause.
